Summary
Under the supervision of the Research, Innovation & Trade Attaché responsible for science & innovation, the intern will gain a deeper understanding of science diplomacy and international trade at the subnational scale, while developing their capacity to analyze the Boston business and innovation ecosystem and better understand how to leverage science and innovation as a tool for prosperity. What you can expect to improve during this internship: - Ability to research and analyze economic and science policy. - Ability to network and understand Boston’s business and innovation ecosystem. - Ability to quickly and efficiently identify your employer’s priorities while conducting research and participating in events. - Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion. - Ability to be productive under strict deadlines. - Understanding of organizing diplomatic events and managing government relations. - Evaluation of your fit for a diplomatic career. - Knowledge of Québec and its international relations.
